Sunglasses hauling
Ok so I'm not great at taking photos of mirrored lenses but lets ignore me in the reflection shall we! It seems like every post I write lately can begin 'in case you didn't know, I'm obsessed with x' but honestly, with sunglasses, I just keep buying and buying them and it's like a running joke with everyone in my house now. I don't think I have that many, like 15 pairs maybe? (I had a clear out only a couple of weeks back!) But apparently that's excessive? I just like to have a choice and different styles/shapes/colours go with different outfits! I picked up 3 new pairs this month and they're easily my three favourite pairs.
Miami Rose Gold Sunglasses, Coconut Lane
I've seen so many bloggers talking about Coconut Lane recently so I thought I'd check it out, and honestly, I could've bought so much! But amongst all the jewellery/phone cases/prints I, of course, found the sunglasses. With my recent love for everything copper and rose gold these seemed like the most perfect choice! They're such a pretty colour and I love the shape to the frame and the delicateness of the arms.
White Marbs Sunglasses, Coconut Lane
So I didn't stop at one pair from Coconut Lane did I, I had to make it two and this pair are so different to the first! They're a much more 'relaxed' kind of style, perfect for summer. They're ideal to go with anything denim which is a trend I'm fully immersed in at the moment, and the frosted frame is so unique.
Double Nose Bridge Sunglasses, eBay
So I love the style of the Dior shades that every blogger has at the moment, you know the ones! But I ain't got the dollar for those, so I was searching eBay and found these for £3. Like, how could I not for that price?! And free shipping! They're a little bit big, constantly sliding down my nose, but for the price and the aesthetics I will cope.
It seems I certainly have a thing for mirrored lenses right now!
Which are your favourite pair?

DIY Terrarium
- Terrarium (obvs)
- Compost
- Succulent(s)
- Decorative stones
I almost had a disaster when trying to put this together, so just a little tip, check the size of the opening on your terrarium before buying any succulent you find. I didn't and only got it to fit in with a lot of careful wiggling and the loss of a few leaves! But it got in ok in the end and after adding some light grey stones (these ones are from Ikea) over the top of the compost I think it looks great, if I do say so myself!
Vichy Dermablend: A Review
Vichy, to me, is such an underrated brand. I've tried some of their skincare pieces before (they do a really good eye cream!) and now they've brought out new additions to their Dermablend range and I'm super impressed! The Fluid Corrective Foundation* is the perfect full coverage foundation I never knew I needed and the Setting Powder* is the ideal accompaniment. I've actually been looking for a new powder and now I need look no more!
They've recently brought out new shades in the foundation, expanding the range from 5 shades to 8 because lets face it, not everyones gonna be able to wear one of 5 options are they. I got the shade Porcelain (the palest shade) which is one of the new releases and although it doesn't look very porcelain-like when you first get some from the tube, it is actually the perfect shade for me and my pastey skin! It's super lightweight but high coverage at the same time, like, really high coverage! MAC Face & Body is my go-to for everyday foundation because it's so light coverage and easy to wear, but I've actually been loving adding a little Fluid Corrective Foundation* under my eyes and on my t-zone as kind of a concealer/second layer of foundation. It gives such a good finish! I've got dry/dehydrated skin and this can cling to dry patches a little, but over the top of F&B it looks great. Also, it has SPF 35 (random number, I know) which is always good because you can never protect your skin enough, am I right? It's said to last for 12 hours which I haven't fully tested, but it lasts 9-10 hours for me on a work day until I get home in dire need of a good cleanse of the face!
For a long time, my go-to powder of choice has been Soap & Glorys One Heck Of A Blot (which I still love!), but I've been wanting to mix things up a bit. I was thinking of trying either the NYX or ELF HD powders, but then I got this and don't want to try anything else! Well, not yet at least. I've never actually used a loose powder, not because I don't like them, just more a case of sticking to what I know tbh. This Setting Powder* has become a staple in my make-up bag now. It's so nice and light on the skin, doesn't look at all cakey, and who doesn't want a cute little cushion to apply it with! If you're in need of a good powder, I would 100% recommend. It sets the foundation and is great at preventing any shiny foreheads!
The full Dermablend range also includes a corrective concealer stick, compact cream and body foundation. (Body foundation?!) I think i'll be trying the concealer next!
Have you tried any of the range?

Feeling Blue
When I came to putting this post together I was like 'damn I should've worn blue lipstick too!' which might've been OTT but have you seen the Halsey X Mac collar? That's an amazing shade! Anyway I'm obsessed with this lipstick/necktie combo at the moment so the blue will have to wait for another time! This is Mac Stone btw.
It was my birthday at the end of April and I got this gorgeous royal blue handbag from my parents which I am so in love with! It's Carvela by Kurt Geiger and is a bucket bag, such a different shape (and colour!) to any that I own already. It's quite a bold, statement bag but not really, at the sam time? I think blue can be either or, depending on your taste really, it's not too 'out there' like say an orange or yellow bag would be, but it's bolder than a simple black or grey, y'know? It's got gold hardware and where I always go silver for jewellery, I don't have a preference for handbags and such really, I love the blue/gold contrast here! It fastens with press-studs front-to-back and side-to-side, so although it's a bucket bag it's not too open. It's really heavy duty and sturdy, but also the perfect bag for just throwing stuff in, ideal for shopping trips basically. It has the front pocket and optional long strap too, it's ast becoming my favourite bag!
The day after my birthday I went shopping, because what else would I do with another day off work, really? I spent far too much money considering I got actual presents and not any money gifted to me, but you've got to buy yourself birthday presents too, right? I was immediately drawn to these dungarees in Zara because of the patches and the frayed hems and once I had tried them on there was just no going back! There's a pair of patchwork dungarees that have been on my ASOS wishlist for weeks, but I think I can get rid now because I'm so in love with these! They're super soft denim and the fit like a dream. They're boyfriend fit and the cropped kind of kick flare style (obviously more cropped if you're of an average or above height, unlike me!). The only thing I was unsure about is that the straps aren't adjustable. Well, they have two button options but on the tightest the bib still hangs much lower than I usually like them to. I kind of like that though now, because it makes them even more different from other dungarees that I own. Of which there are quite a few.
Dungarees, Zara - Bag, Carvela by Kurt Geiger - Body, TK Maxx - Neck Scarf, ASOS
I'm definitely embracing the blue denim and all-round general blueness on trend this season!
