f you didn't know, I'm a little obsessed with both copper homeware and indoor plants. So what better for my room than a copper terrarium with a succulent? I've been looking for a nice terrarium for a few weeks now and I just couldn't find one that I liked anywhere. Either they were the wrong shape, colour, size, a variation of the three (or just poorly made). Eventually I fell in love with this one and my brother pulled through on his brotherly duties and bought it for me! In the store, they're displayed with jewellery in and they look super pretty, so if you aren't a big fan of plants then you should still check out terrariums anyway! But I dragged my mum along to the garden centre and after almost buying every succulent I saw, I decided on this one and am so happy with how it's turned out! It's super easy to do, all you need is:
  • Terrarium (obvs)
  • Compost
  • Succulent(s)
  • Decorative stones
I almost had a disaster when trying to put this together, so just a little tip, check the size of the opening on your terrarium before buying any succulent you find. I didn't and only got it to fit in with a lot of careful wiggling and the loss of a few leaves! But it got in ok in the end and after adding some light grey stones (these ones are from Ikea) over the top of the compost I think it looks great, if I do say so myself!
