Double Tassels
If you notice anything about my OOTD posts, it's possible (probable) to tell that the top of multi-storey car parks is my favourite place to shoot right now. The lighting is just insane, and they're *usually* very quiet and empty, so what's not to love? But I don't want the same backdrop on every post, so I did venture to a different car park this time to mix it up a touch. (jk).
I picked this outfit (top and trousers) up in the Zara sale when I was browsing online over Christmas. They're both pieces that I loved pre-sale but could never find in my size, so when they were in the sale and in stock in my size, it was like it was meant to be really. I'm always a fan of an oversized top, but make it checkered and throw on some pompoms and you're winning aren't you?
Picture the trousers on someone of average or above height, and they probably look 10x better being cropped as intended, not just ankle grazing, but am I actually bothered about that? They're super comfy material, stretchy but not overly so, and I think the double tassels from the top and trousers together is the perfect, casual combo.
These loafers are *identical* to the Topshop pair (which I have in white and pink) except they're from Primark for a fraction of the price. I would highly recommend, but I wore them for a few hours and they shredded my heel so bad - if you're prone to blisters then maybe avoid.
Can we just take a minute for the hat too, because I'm always a big fan of hats and this was fully inspired by the likes of Megan (pagesbymegan.com) and Amy (thelittlemagpie.com) who look absolute babes in the baker boy style.

Lusting: Faux Fur
Well I don't know about you, but here in Yorkshire it's been bloody freezing lately and what's better for keeping warm and cozy in the cold than a load of faux fur? So, tis the season and all that - here's a collection of some personal faves out there at the moment. All linked, as usual!
Fan of faux fur? Which is your favourite piece?

Leopard Spots
So I don't think I mentioned in my New Years Resolutions~ post, but as you can see I've changed my hair again. Because who even am I if I don't keep doing so? I've gone very dark this time - blue black, to be precise - and I'm really digging it tbh. It feels very seasonal appropriate. But along with new hair I also have *a lot* of new sale buys. Sale shopping is like my time to shine, I always seem to find at least one absolute bargain, but one place I was very disappointed in this season was ASOS. My usual trusty fave just had a sale full of crap, if we're being honest. Well, not totally full, I picked up 4 small but very good purchases, but that's not much is it? This t-shirt (a Noisy May via ASOS) and the leopard print belt are two of these finds!
I see slogan tee's everywhere but it's very rare that I actually like them enough to buy them if I'm honest. A lot of them are just tat aren't they, but not this one. Dressing up the classic white tee, blue jeans outfit with a few splashes of leopard print and bonus fishnet socks and a tasseled leather jacket seemed like the perfect way to go about my first OOTD post of 2017. Expect more on the fishnet front as I'm obsessed.

Paris: A Mini Photo Diary
So although I went to Paris, the most fashionable of cities, this post won't be full of fancy outfit shots. Not only because it was pretty cold and I was wrapped in cosy layers, but also it was my first holiday with friends in a long time and wasn't focusing on creating content but more enjoying myself. So here's a round up of tourist things we did as I tried to brush up my photography skills. I took SO many photos and tried not to bore you with them, so there's only 10% here. Yeah, I know.
We went full basic, up the arc de triomphe and notre dame, a nighttime cruise down the Seine, visiting sacre coeur and the catacombs, even ice skating on the champs d'elysees - basically everything you first thing of when you think being a tourist in Paris, and far too much to ever fit in one blog post. So here's a condensed look!
